Our innovative curated exhibition program presents great and challenging
art–historical and contemporary, established and experimental. Based on new research, our exhibitions deliver new perceptions of art history and culture, and avoid received wisdoms. Culture is approached as something open and dynamic, rather than given.

Through major career-surveys, collection-based research-driven exhibitions and contemporary projects, we offer audiences opportunities to reflect, debate, inquire and learn. We work to promote the exchange of projects, ideas, and practices between artists, curators, writers, the university and members of our larger community.
