We present an innovative curated exhibition program that engages with critical debate and issues relevant to art history and contemporary art practice. Exhibitions include focused displays of the University of Melbourne Art Collection, one of Victoria’s most significant collections of artworks and cultural artefacts.

The museum provides a context, resources and support for research, as well as an educational framework for the visual arts. We work to promote the exchange of projects, ideas and practises between artists, curators, writers, the university and members of our larger community.
