The Potter welcomes school students and their teachers to visit our exhibitions. While we do not offer tours, we encourage teachers to familiarise themselves with the current exhibitions from the information online on our Exhibitions Tab, and to plan independent visits. If you are planning a visit, we ask teachers to ring or email our Information Desk to discuss timing and make a final booking.
For research and classroom activities, we have a number of resources that can be used independently by teachers relating to our permanent collections. These include the George W. Lambert: Australian works (1917-1930) Education Resource, the Modern Australian Relief Printing Education Resource, the Bushrangers Education Resource, and the Gerard Herbst Poster Collection Education Resource.
Due to an exhibition installation the Sister Corita film works; 'Alleluia: The Life and Art of Corita Kent: The ‘60s 1967' by Thomas Conrad and 'Mary’s Day 1965 1965' by Baylis Glascock are no longer showing. We apologise for any inconvenience.
