To coincide with our 40th anniversary we will be presenting a series of nine talks on the third Tuesday of the month between March and November 2012. This program of free talks celebrates the rich and diverse exhibition program presented at the Potter.

These talks focus on a key work in our exhibitions, presented by Potter curatorial staff, university academics and special guest speakers.

In the sixth talk exhibition collaborator Dr Jennifer Webb, Archaeology Program at La Trobe University will discuss objects in the current Classics and Archaeology exhibition with a focus on the stunning Bronze Age Red polished black-topped incised tulip bowl from Karma Palealona, Cyprus.

Tues 18 September: Chris McAuliffe on the Basil Sellers Art Prize 2012.

Tues 16 October: Jenny Long on The Anatomy lesson.

Tues 20 November: Joanna Bosse on the Leonhard Adam Collection.

    NO BOOKINGS REQUIRED
